<div id="attachment_11" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 510px"><a href="http://amigurumiland.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/supplies.jpg"><img class="size-full wp-image-11" title="supplies" src="http://amigurumiland.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/supplies.jpg" alt="Amigurumi Supplies" width="500" height="375" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Amigurumi Supplies</p></div>
<p>I went for the super-cute this time and bought <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1601404956?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=onetimeone-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1601404956">Easy Crochet Critters</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=onetimeone-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1601404956" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> (the cheapest yet most adorable of the three in my opinion), <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1564778479?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=onetimeone-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1564778479">Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=onetimeone-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1564778479" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />, and <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/156477922X?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=onetimeone-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=156477922X">Amigurumi Two!: Crocheted Toys for Me and You and Baby Too</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=onetimeone-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=156477922X" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> (which both have some really unique crochet patterns including coffee cups and fruits).</p>
<p>At the request of Natasha, my 9-year old, I&#8217;m starting with the cute baby lion on the cover of Easy Crochet Critters, and I will let you know once it&#8217;s done!</p>
<p>My husband may even be getting into Amigurumi knitting too!  He bought a knitting book and supplies so we&#8217;ll see&#8230; that would be so cute for the two of us to be making our creations while watching TV. <img src='http://amigurumiland.net/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p>Welcome to the land of very cute crochet and knitting!</p>
<p>My name is Jennifer Hall and I first delved into the world of Amigurumi when I started making crocheted dolls for my daughter from the book <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1594742324?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=onetimeone-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1594742324">Creepy Cute Crochet: Zombies, Ninjas, Robots, and More!</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=onetimeone-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1594742324" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />  I enjoyed making them so much and was so happy to find that my daughter had made a bed for the vampiress I had made and was sleeping next to her at night that I decided this would be a very beneficial hobby for both of us!</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve always enjoyed crocheting but recently found myself with a bag of unfinished blankets that I wasn&#8217;t terribly excited about finishing.  I hadn&#8217;t really found the right colors and patterns, and probably didn&#8217;t have the time for them back when I left them unfinished.  Then I realized that there was a world of small, wonderful projects out there to be done!  Now I really love making all kinds of amigurumi from cute baby lions to cuddly vampires to experimental dolls.</p>
<p>Check back here for my latest creations, patterns, and amigurumi pictures!</p>
