Amigurumi Land

Last weekend I bought some splendid new Amigurumi supplies to get going – I’m so excited!  There’s nothing like getting new, beautiful yarn and wonderful crochet books to start some new projects!

Amigurumi Supplies

I went for the super-cute this time and bought Easy Crochet Critters (the cheapest yet most adorable of the three in my opinion), Amigurumi World: Seriously Cute Crochet, and Amigurumi Two!: Crocheted Toys for Me and You and Baby Too (which both have some really unique crochet patterns including coffee cups and fruits).

At the request of Natasha, my 9-year old, I’m starting with the cute baby lion on the cover of Easy Crochet Critters, and I will let you know once it’s done!

My husband may even be getting into Amigurumi knitting too!  He bought a knitting book and supplies so we’ll see… that would be so cute for the two of us to be making our creations while watching TV.
